NewsMidlake Announce US TourMidlake have announced a tour of the US, beginning September 4 in Atlanta, GA. The band will tour to support their second album 'The Trials of Van Occupanther', and recently revealed they recorded a track with The Chemical Brothers entitled 'The Pills Won't Help You Now' which appears on The Chemical Brothers' forthcoming album. Next month the band will open for The New Pornographers at Battery Park, New York City on July 4. The album, which features ten tracks, will be released on December 18, prior to the film's release. Two tracks from the album, 'Henry Plainview' and 'Proven Lands', are excerpts from the guitarist's orchestral piece 'Popcorn Superhet Receiver', composed for the BBC and first performed last year in London.
